In fact, it is a very exciting and unique opportunity for anyone who’s interested in the extraordinary world of beekeeping and would like to run an established and profitable business, producing an exquisite product: Miellerie Honey. Miellerie Honey is one of the best quality honeys being produced in Australia today. It is raw, cold extracted, organic honey, as pure as honey can be! It has been gracing our breakfast, lunch and dinner tables and restaurants since 2005, heightening our experience of raw honey production from endemic wildflowers of the pristine wilderness of precious World Heritage areas in South West Tasmania. We are selling the Miellerie Honey business as a running, operating business. It is a stand-alone business which is not part of any franchise or other group affiliation. The sale includes: the bee hives, the trade mark/business name, the honey stock, customer contacts, extracting equipment, motor vehicles and, significantly, the 7 bee-site licences in South West Tasmania which allow access to collect prized honey varieties such as Leatherwood and Manuka/ Tea-Tree.

The sale of Miellerie Honey includes the following three areas of the business:

Stock

The honey itself, collected and stored, is included in the sale. The average stock level throughout the year varies, so the actual SAV (Stock at Value) can be estimated and agreed upon at the time of sale. All packaging requirements: the labels, jars, lids, cartons etc. Everything required to seamlessly continue running the business.

The business is for sale with all fixtures, fittings and furniture on site required to operate Miellerie Honey. Both of which hold, reflect and invite the customer to experience the honey within. Each label has a story; each honey variety has a story, because each honey variety comes from the flowers of this extraordinary island, Tasmania, lutruwita. The essence of each flower and honey varieties are beautifully represented in these labels.

A new chapter in the future of Miellerie...

Significant opportunities for growth, development, expansion and continuity. The business has grown organically due to its superior quality honey – there has been no major promotion or marketing employed to date, which represents the significant opportunity for growth. No online marketing or farm-gate has been established, yet. Yves is willing to provide on-site support and training if necessary to the purchaser after settlement in order to ensure a seamless hand-over of customers and most importantly, the operations of the business. This training/support will be a negotiated period from the date of settlement. Yves will ensure that a thorough handover of the business occurs, including:
- Introduction to key customers and suppliers
- Briefing of operations
- Briefing of any work in progress, orders and current business initiatives
- Introduction to employees, and associated policies and procedures within the business
